Jaguar XJR-S 5.3 V12 Auto No.001

1988 F Reg, 68,000 miles , finished in Tungsten grey metallic with full doeskin leather piped grey, walnut dashboard and centre console, MOT, Air Conditioning/Climate control, Remote central locking, Electric windows, Electric mirrors, Cruise control, Power assisted steering, ABS, Radio/CD player, Computer, Electrically adjustable seats, Immobiliser, alloy wheels. history file.
This is XJR-S number 001 the first XJR-S ever made and the one featured in all the brochures and marketing material. She was originally given away as a competition prize in the Daily Mail back in 1988.
She was totally rebuilt about 7 years ago and has been fully restored to her former glory by an XJ-S racing specialist who then used her as their own show car covering approx 7000 miles in the last 7 years. She comes with a huge history file including news paper clippings and original press photos. She looks runs and drives as though she was a few weeks old and is simply stunning in every respect. This is my own piece of Jaguar history that I have reluctantly decided to sell.
